Revolut took four minutes to go from "Get started" to a card I could spend, and most of that was typing. This teardown walks the flow screen by screen — phone number first, no password ceremony, an account that exists before you commit, KYC deferred until it is genuinely required — and names the four sequencing decisions that bought those minutes. It then turns the same lens on insurance onboarding, where quoting and KYC are front-loaded and abandonment is designed in, and sets out what I would change as Product Director.
